Calling in shenanigans on Penny Auctions is quite unfair for the whole lot of legit penny bidding sites.
Its a scam for those who never win anything, and the real deal for those who at least won something over some time. After going through many bid packs without winning anything will obviously result in frustration. Not everybody can win. I think you have to stick to it for some time in order to win something from these penny auction sites. Its a game of chance, you're up against penny hustlers and moms who are out for a bargain (meaning moms who are adamant about winning something cheap) and old people (yeah, grandma who has all the time in the world to wait for that bid to end). So I guess its also about timing and spotting a bid countdown that's not crowded by penny hustlers, moms and old biddies. Of course, you gotta monitor your bid packs and make every bid count.
